The Natural Store, Falmouth’s long-established wholefood store, has relocated to larger premises on Market Strand by The Prince of Wales Pier, closer to the heart of the town centre.
The launch of the new store marks the beginning of what the Natural Store owner Paul Johnson describes as an exciting new chapter for the business, a ‘natural progression’, if you will. The store’s staff and Paul share many similar values and are all dedicated to helping people make healthier choices in their everyday lives.
Paul commented, “We celebrating our 20th anniversary in Falmouth last July and have needed more space for a long time. We are absolutely delighted with the new venue which has twice the floor space of our two High Street shops giving us the opportunity to open the juice bar, and soon to open a wholefood café on the upper floor”.
The Natural Store has been based in Falmouth’s Old High Street since 1996, taking over the business which began as The Granary in the late 1970’s. In 2006 it expanded by taking the adjacent property to increase its range of wholefoods, body care and supplements. The business also has stores in Helston and St Austell.
The Natural Store has increased their food range, particularly their range of organic fruit and vegetables, much of it from local growers. Delicious, nutrient-packed juices are also available, made fresh to order every day at the juice bar.
Rob Kneebone, Shop Manager commented, “We would like to send out a massive ‘thank you’ to our lovely customers – old and new – who continued to support our stores in 2016. It was a remarkable year for us with the move to the new premises. Our new home in Falmouth is wonderful, all the staff and customers seem to agree!”
The shop is now open, including the new juice bar, and by the Spring the café will be launched.
