You Don’t Need Concealer to Cover Up Dark Circles, Use Rosehip Oil Like Instead
Waking up in the morning and finding dark circles under your eyes is such an incredible annoyance. My typical response used to be to dig through my make up and pull out my concealer and foundation. Although, this doesn’t get rid of the actual bags, and most times you can still see the outline of them it was the only quick fix I had for the problem.
That was until I read about Rosehip Oil.
What is Rosehip Oil:
Harvested from the seeds of rose bushes predominately grown in Chile, rosehip seed oil is full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines.
What it does:
Rosehip Oil protects the skin and increases cell turnover because it contains vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin D and B-carotene, a form of vitamin A. It’s also rich in essential fatty acids, which convert to prostaglandins (PGE) and are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration.
The recommended eye serum for dark circles and puffiness incorporates lavender oil, and lemon along with Rosehip oil. It uses the combination of these ingredients because for a boost of antioxidants that further aid in the nourishment of skin.The skin around the eyes is very subtle and sensitive, the essential oil will form fat granule and put overload to the skin around eyes.
It is incredibly easy to make, and even easier to add to your nightly routine. Simply cleanse your face and remove any makeup and then spray this eye serum for dark circles on your face. Make sure your eyes are closed. Gently rub the serum under your and around your eyes.
Within a few days, you should a noticeable reduction in your dark circles and eye puffiness.
Rosehip Oil Eye Serum
- 1/2 tbsp. rosehip seed oil
- 1/2 tbsp. pure aloe vera gel
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 5 drops lemon essential oil
- 1 tsp. Melted coconut oil.

- In a glass spray bottle, combine all ingredients and shake well.
- Before bed, gently cleanse the face and remove all make-up.
- Spray the solution onto the face, making sure the eyes are closed.
- Gently massage the solution under and around your eyes.
- Allow it to dry.
- Sleep with your head well supported by quality pillows
